The 7 Sins game can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing providers in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for 7 Sins is 4%.
The 7 Sins game is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. Instead of tradition paylines the game uses 243 different way wins. The way wins pay out from left to right and are awarded combinations of symbols from adjacent reels.
Wild - The Wild symbol is depicted by a red and gold flashing number 7, with a purple back ground that bursts with light. There are also Double Wilds that look the same but have two 7s on the symbol. Double Wilds, as you would expect, act as a normal Wild but double any winning combination they are a part of.
Scatter – The Scatter symbol is gold “Pandora’s Box”.
Bonus Features:
7 of a Kind – This bonus, in keeping with the title of the game, allows you to land 7 Wilds in a turn. This is because 2 doubles will act as 2 additional Wilds. If you can land 7 of a Kind you will win 700 times your original bet, a big jump from the 20 times multiplier that 6 Wilds gets you.
Free Spins – Revealing the 3 “Pandora’s Box” symbols will multiply the win by 2 and it also triggers 7 free spins. No additional spins can be won during this feature and all bets are of the same value as the bet that triggered the feature.
During the Free Spins no symbols other than one Sin symbol will be in play. Reel 3 will stay in place and contains 3 of that particular Sin symbol. The the other 4 reels will be predominantly made up of empty spaces, with some of the specific Sin symbol on each reel. With each spin, the Sin symbol will change and the size of the bet win will multiply until the bet multiplier is at 7 on the final spin.
Second Chance – Revealing 2 “Pandora’s Box” Scatter symbols will trigger the Second Chance feature. On this feature you have to choose from one of the 7 sins. If you reveal another Pandora’s Box you will double your bet and jump to the Free Spins feature. You can win up to 15 times your original bet on the Second Chance feature.
7 Sins takes its theme very seriously, with the number 7 finding significance in just about every one of the bonus features. As for the 7 sins, lust is clearly the most marketable of them all with busty women making up most of the Sin symbols, regardless of the sin in question. The bonuses are reasonably inventive, without being anything overly mind-blowing. The 7 of a Kind feature is a clever play on the theme and I like how the multipliers and the spins all make their way up to 7 too. The game looks good, with some detailed symbols, although the background doesn’t have much going on. This is a slots game that is both straight-forward and relatively imaginative. The theme is arguably a little on the crass side but I’m sure that it won’t bother those who choose to play the game. The House Edge is the usual Play ‘n Go 4%, which could obviously be better and might be enough to deter some from playing.
