A fobt machine

Postby xalksx » Thu Apr 17, 2014 7:41 pm

Hi folks this is something that really interests me and i aint done much reading up on these i no how they work and how they sook in money for fun but i had a debate with a bookie in store about these machines he tells me that these machines are totaly random so theres us and a few of the lads and i shows them something that i had picked up along the way i says to them right all stand at a machine and stick £1 in so they did i said right just put 5x20 bets on so they did so i said right after i count to 3 everyone hit the bet button at the same time so they did all 3 machines popped in the same number i was able to tell them this before the wheel had stopped spinning as i no the way the spins work
so are these really random or are these just a very good looking fruit machine ..Do they work the same as a fruity the bookie tells me they all connect to the server and spit out a random number

But if these are random and are set at a certain percentage to pay out when that pay out is due what happens if me and my 2 mates are doing what i had showed them do we all win ? is the money that the machine is due to spit out split between the 3 machines? this is a bit like what come first the chicken or the egg i no and the post may sound silly but if anyone has any decent links about these machines would use share them or any experiences with the machines .Cheers

Hey xalksx,

I'm probably not the best person to answer this question - I have a passing understanding of fobts but am no expert. I have however sent a quick pm to another member of this forum that is far more familiar with them. Hopefully they'll respond.

Never heard of that one specifically although without a doubt it is possible these things exist all the time. Just imagine the engineers that create these machines of course they will want a nice way to expose the system for a few extra quid. The only problem with this is once someone knows they can't keep their mouth shut and the company has to fix it.
