Hi BB,

On that one you couldn't be more wrong. Much like Card Counting, and Hole Carding offline there are ways to gain an edge playing online. While I don't really want to go into them here I'd suggest looking at BeatingBonuses.com for more information on that (even Michael Shackleford references that site from time to time). Making money gambling online is a reality. If you know what you're doing you can have the advantage in the long run rather than the casino. But it's not for everyone. It takes discipline. You have to know what you're doing in every situation and stick to it. Not everyone can do that. These days you also need to have a significant bankroll to reduce your Risk of Ruin (chance of losing everything before hitting the long term expectation) to an acceptable level.

There are plenty of 'system sellers' out there and they're all selling snake oil. All the various betting strategies and streak betting and all that crap. That doesn't mean that there aren't legitimate, mathematically provable ways to win.

As far as Advantage Play goes, I'll never support a casino holding out on paying a player for being an Advantage Player. Smart play is part of what makes the whole industry exciting. However, when a player then breaks the rules by opening lots of accounts so the can claim the bonus over and over again that's a different story.

Just catching up with some threads on the forums pretty interesting about the NID. Ive never been asked for it however what does bug me is the whole "bank statement" or phone bill etc allot of things are in my partners name and bank statements are mostly online now .

ive been doing a little bit of trading online and with a broker before anything is done they want the ID .Its just a bit nippy when they need to see the 4 corners of everything .Even if your a touch out you need to do it again ..On the subject of these strategys for gambling etc it used to be allot bigger with that i mean you seen them pop up all the time ,scammers mostly .Now it seems to have moved over to trading binary options man the amount of scammers popping videos up by the minute is mad .Have you ever dabbled in trading thePOGG i no its something very time consuming and your busy over here but you do seem the sort that be good at it ..As i think uve mentioned you can card count etc .So you wouldn't bust banks by trading with the "mug punter" sort of view ..I no its somewhat of topic but just thought id ask ..Ive found it allot more calming and less to do ,at first i found it boring but now find it pretty interesting ,its mostly for me just skimming money here and there nothing big but watching how the markets move is interesting .I wont gibber on lol :)

Everything about the Binary Options (trading) operators within the gambling market screams "Big Red Flashing Light" to me. The fact that loads of videos are popping up telling people how to make easy money trading only confirms my suspicions and frankly the reps I've met for this sector at conferences have only made me question it more.

I wouldn't have anything to do with the online trading groups and I'd suggest that other players stay away from this group too.

As to trading itself, it's never something I've dabbled in. I've known a few very smart people who have, some made money others lost lots. Too steep a learning curve for me to be interested, especially give the time that I have to invest in running TP.

xalksx wrote:Right yea im with you on that as much as we hate dodgy casinos its the same with a dodgy player but surely there's a way to do it where they can verify who is who without sending stuff in we no stuff can be forgied so most lightly these big time scammers are doing this anyway if there clever enough to want to rip someone of there clever enough to buy a new identity cheap

I think its my experience thats put me of with betway they kept returning cash to the account and i no others do this as the process goes on instead they should continue with the withdrawal and get the docs checked done ..But still i think theres something out there where they can go right they are who they say they are ive only sent documentation in once to one site
All others have found out another way i suppose but if your in support with it i need to go well fair enough you have seen stuff go on in this industry that ive not so from your point of view its paramount it happens i just hope in the future theres a faster process and im very unpaitent lol

I think the casinos can freeze big payments to protect you and you rvenues and also fight money laundering schemes. That all is settled in T&C which everyone approve before playing. In fact if they hold your money after additional verification that means they want to steal your money. I think, the real situation can be fiffer case by case.
