Yeah a lot of casinos are overly paranoid about their live games as is evidenced by the number of casinos that restrict them from use with any bonus. Unless there's a system I'm not seeing - and I'm familiar with a large number of the successful plays out there - live games are no more vulnerable than any other. Counting could be applied to the blackjack games, but it would be easy to program the software to detect it and given the hands/hour dealt is very low it really wouldn't be worthwhile.

I'd also suggest that the limits you encountered may be account specific. Many casinos vary the limits depending on the player, especially the big sports books who have players that would genuinely shock you if you knew how much they were betting in a single round of play.

You may not be saying it, but I don't think it's very far from the truth.

I've spent a good amount of time in the casinos in the US and can say that the waitresses are regularly wearing outfits that many women wouldn't be prepared to wear at the pool and they are of a certain ascetic quality. Of course this could all be coincidence and maybe the girls choose what they wear and it's just random chance that many of them are pretty or alternatively the gambling industry is well aware of 3 things;

1) sex sells
2) distracted men are more likely to gamble recklessly
3) aroused men are more likely to gamble recklessly

And offline is far from the only place this happens - those dealers don't choose the cut of their top, that the managements choice. I wouldn't single Ladbrokes out here, all Live casinos are like that.

I was down at the London Affiliate Conference a few years ago and I honestly have to say that I was made very uncomfortable by what I saw. Several of the companies had hired topless models to have their logos painted across their chests. To be completely upfront, I like breasts as much as the next heterosexual man, but this is a professional environment. Frankly rather than enjoying this I found that I didn't know where to look. It also occurs to me that while the sector does have a male dominated demographic, there are many women working at these conferences. How do they feel about this? How would the men react if we turned the tables and got in a load of male models in banana hammocks with the logos painted across their posteriors? I've a funny feeling that would be seen as distasteful and receive quite a hostile reaction.

Bottom line is that I feel practices like this discredit the industry, but I'm sure there are many people that would disagree with me.
