Casinos that close your account for inactivity

Postby dillfly2000 » Sat Sep 15, 2018 8:55 pm

I'm new here but definitely not new to online casinos.

Anywho, I have beef with some online casinos closing my account and preventing me to re-signup without contacting support first all because I made an account and haven't used it for three months or longer. Eventually I play all the casinos I sign up with but I just find it bad business practice to close an account that's inactive. As an affiliate with many programs (not just casinos) It's not unusual to see customers sign up and not do anything for months or sometimes years and eventually spend some cash, many of which are my best customers.

I won't mention any Casinos but it's definitely a deterrent.

This practice is fairly slim, I'd say the majority of casinos leave non active accounts. But this has been an issue with some well known brands. It's a downer because their are some exclusives id love to try but if it means me having to contact support just to sign up again, I'd have to pass.

Hi dillfly200,

There are reasons that operators apply this type of policy that relate to fraud prevention and responsible gambling that I'm not going to go into here. I do understand that these policies can be frustrating and why you may choose to disengage because of them, but overall I wouldn't be concerned about them unless there was a balance in the account at the point it was deemed inactive.

Yeah that's true, it's somewhat annoying but definite makes sense.
