Five Aces

Five Aces is a Video Poker game which is a modified version of Jacks or Better adding an additional card to the deck. The additional card is a 5th Ace. This Ace does not have a suit and as such cannot contribute to any hand that requires a suit (Royal Flush, Straight Flush or Flush).

For ease of comparison, the below table displays the best House Edge for Five Aces available at each software provider;

Software 5 coins House Edge
GamesOS 2.03%

Online we’ve found Five Aces Video Poker at casinos using GamesOS software. Offline Five Aces is also a game variant that’s applied to several standard game variants. You can find details of these game variants below and on the following pages – Double Bonus, Double Double Bonus, Jacks or Better.

Some notes on the tables below;

- We’ve included both the 5 coin House Edge and the House Edge when playing 1-4 coins. The House Edge for 1-4 coins are the same and as such only one figure is listed. To find the house edge/paytable for 2-4 coins just multiple the 1 coin figure by the number of coins.

** The negative House Edge value indicates a player advantage. As this particular paytable was taken from a site that works with IGT to offer Video Poker tournaments – giving a reason to want players to win in the long run - it seems unlikely the above paytable is actually deployed on casino floors.
