Jonny Jackpot Halloween Slots

Posted by Glenn Baird on Oct 29, 2020

Jonny Jackpot is an online casino that was launched back in 2018. You can play a range of different casino games at their sites, with a multitude of slots available from a host of all the best known software providers.

Having taken some time to scroll through their list of slot titles I thought now would be a good time to take a close look at what Halloween favourites of ours you are likely to find in their casino lobby.

This is a chance not just to check out what is going on over at Jonny Jackpot but is also a chance for us to revisit some of our favourite Halloween slots. Unlike some of our other lists this one will comprise not just recent releases but will delve back into the midst of time to find the very best that Halloween has to offer over at Jonny Jackpot.

This list will be made up of the 5 best Halloween themed slots that can be played at Jonny Jackpot casinos today. To meet the brief we will consider werewolves, vampires, ghosts and naturally, the word Halloween, or versions of it.

Spectre Estate

Microgaming released the Spectre Estate slot in September of this year, getting in early so that they had plenty of time to drum up support for it before the big day kicked in over a month after its release. What you get with Spectre Estate is a slot that has been really well designed, something that hasn’t always been easy for me to say when reviewing Microgaming slots this year. Free Spins, various different Wild symbols, multipliers and many different respin options mean that the slot doesn’t just look good, it also offers genuine entertainment. The house edge is good enough to warrant a mention and all things considered this is a great way to get things started for Halloween over Jonny Jackpot.

Lucky Halloween

Red Tiger are now being steered under the Net Entertainment banner and have been used by the standard bearer for all things exceptional in slot design as a means to throw out slots that are arguably more forgettable, in a quantity over quality approach that has meant there has been little to get excited about over at Red Tiger since Pirates Plenty swept the slots awards board back in 2018. However, every now and then a little glimmer of that quality will slip through the net and last year’s Lucky Halloween slot is one that does. The slot looks amazing and it comes with a whole host of fun features. You get your Wilds and Free Spins but you also get a Bonus and a pile of random features thrown in for good measure. In this instance the house edge is not really worth taking into account one way or the other.

Dark King: Forbidden Riches

This seems like the best point to move from Red Tiger to Net Entertainment and introduce the Dark King: Forbidden Riches slot as arguably the darkest and most serious slot on our list. There is something very haunting about this slot, it’s design exceptional and not for the faint of heart. This is a world of the undead, one that the Dark King resides over, in a gothic horror inspired nightmare. You get Free Spins and they come with a modifier that allows for sticky Wilds and you get Wilds that come with multipliers, but the real hero of this piece is the design, which as you should know by now is something that Net Entertainment rarely let us down on.

Helloween

Play ‘n’ Go have a decent track record when is comes to spooky themed slots and you’ll be hard pushed to find a slot that fits our brief better than the Helloween slot does. This slot is one of a growing number of 80s metal inspired games and if I’m honest there were a few in that list that could have met the brief but I don’t any would have managed to so quite as effortlessly as this one. Title aside you have a well designed slot that has many, many different pumpkin symbols, leaving you in absolutely no doubt as to which holiday season the band took their influences from. The slot comes with one real feature, but that feature comes with 7 different possibilities. All of those involve Free Spins and a Wild modifier of some sort, other than the Free Spins that come with 7 Spins. This time the house edge is good enough for me to say there is also some value for money on offer too.

The Wolf’s Bane

The one repeat we will indulge in is heading back to the minds of Net Entertainment’s creative team. The Wolf’s Bane slot was released last year, was my favourite Halloween slot from 2019 and one of my favourite slots from the entire year. I don’t think it got the attentional it deserved, so here I am drumming up my enthusiasm for it all over again. Free Spins, 4 different Wild symbols and a Bonus feature mean that you are going to be hard pushed to find yourself getting bored playing this one. However, the best thing about this slot, not including how good it looks, is the low house edge, which is offering seriously good value for money.
