For a short time only, LeoVegas will be offering exclusive access to the second instalment of a popular Play ‘n’ Go slot franchise.
Golden Ticket 2 is a future Play ‘n’ Go release that has seen an early launch, exclusively in LeoVegas casino.
The slot will be made available to all affiliated casinos, but punters will need to wait another month before they can test the reels at the Play ‘n’ Go circus if they are not LeoVegas customers.
Earlier today we published our verdict on the slot but before we get into that, let’s remind ourselves of the original Golden Ticket and have a think about what made it perfect for a reboot.
Golden Ticket

Golden Ticket was released back in January 2019 and had enough going for it to a get a very respectable 7 out of 10 from us.
The slot tips its cap and holds in it belly cradling leotard to the golden age of circus. A time when a trip to circus was a grand day out and an opportunity the scout the latest facial hair trends without having to flick through the pages of Hipster monthly.
It is a simple game a heart, which mean that there was always going to be the potential to improve on it.
The grid is bigger than most and instead of paylines you get to win with symbol combinations, and you can land multiple combinations in a single spin. Wilds are ever present and those winning combinations allow you to trigger the slot’s Bonus features. The only big downer was the lack of a Free Spins feature, but all can be forgiven when you have a house edge as close to 3% as this one does.
Essentially, despite its lack of exciting features and slot ingenuity, Golden Ticket was offering good value for money.
Golden Ticket 2

To improve on the standard set by Golden Ticket, Golden Ticket 2 needed to look as good, if not better. And I do not think it would be entirely unjust of me to say that this does look significantly better. Everything is that little bit sharper and more clearly defined.
It would need to offer more on the features too, which given the inclusion of the Free Spins, pretty much ensures that this box it ticked as well.
All is not entirely rosy though, as the house edge does not live up to the 3.27% set by the original. For that reason, despite those huge improves, Golden Ticket 2 gets the same 7 out of 10 that we gave the original.
There is also an issue with the fact that Golden Ticket 2 is a reskin of Troll Hunters 2, which undoes a lot of the slot’s apparently good work.
However, if you were a fan of the original and if you liked Troll Hunters 2 then I have no doubt that you will be a big fan of Golden Ticket 2.
