Betsafe, a Betsson brand, has signed a deal with the Scandinavian software providers Yggdrasil. The deal will allow Betsafe customers in Lithuania the chance to play some of Yggdrasil’s critically acclaimed casino games.
The software providers who are now based in Malta have an impressive back catalogue for Betsafe punters to sink their teeth into. In particular their trilogy of Viking slots has proved to be some of the company’s most popular slots. Add to this a myriad of stunning games, some of which will include the newly released Splitz technology and there is plenty for Lithuanian customers at Betsafe to get excited about.
The two companies strike this deal, just a month away from the release of Yggdrasil’s hotly anticipated “Neon Rush”, the second slot in their ranks to include the much-hyped Slitz technology.
Along with games, Betsafe will also have access to Yggdrasil’s in-game promotional software to help drive player engagement.
Patrick Nordwall, head of nordics at Yggdrasil, commented: “Betsson is one of our key customers and we are thrilled to extend our long-lasting partnership and partner with them in a new market.
“We continue to implement our growth strategy in regulated markets, and we are looking forward to offering our games to local players in Lithuania, especially titles featuring our new mechanics Splitz and upcoming Gigablox.”
Betsson and Yggdrasil first signed a deal back in 2014 and now operate together in counties including Denmark, Italy, Latvia and Spain.
Ciara Nic Liam, product director at Betsson Group said: “Yggdrasil’s games have been very popular among our customers across all markets since day one of our partnership and we know Lithuania will be no different.
“Their ever-growing portfolio of innovative and engaging games will be a great addition to our existing offering.”
