Guts Casino Awards a Quickspin Slot their Game of the Week

by Glenn Baird - December 22, 2020

Quickspin’s “Big Bad Wolf Christmas Special” has been named as the Guts Casinos game of the week.

Guts.com are no strangers to Quickspin slots, with each and every release from the software provider currently listed and ready to play in their casinos.

This release hit casino lobbies a few weeks ago and is a remake of an old Quickspin classic, with some additional Christmas magic thrown in for good measure.

Quickspin are no strangers to this award, with Titan Thunder Wrath of Hades picking it up most recently. Along with that title you can also expect to find the likes of Nero’s Fire, Crystal Prince and Hammer of Vulcan all at Guts Casinos.

The software provider has become synonymous with quality over the years and as such expectations with this slot will be high. Add to this the fact that this is a Christmas re-release of an old classic and it’s not difficult to see why this one grabbed the game of the week prize.

Big Bad Wolf Christmas Special

In terms of the design, you have a slot that looks identical to the original but with a few Christmas decorations thrown in to mark the season.

Obviously, you have a slot based on the well-known story of the 3 Little Pigs but it has been an animated design that could be pulled straight out of a popular cartoon.

Some Numbers

The most important numbers are the 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 25 paylines, all playing from left to right. The house edge that sits at a reasonable 3.66% and the betting range of 0.25 all the way up to 100 per spin, depending on your currency, of course.

Some Features

There are two bonus features when playing Big Bad Wolf. The first feature is active on every spin. When you receive a winning combination of symbols, after you’ve been paid, the symbols that contributed to the win will be blown from the reels allowing the symbols above to drop down and new symbols to fall in at the tip of the reels. This process will repeat until no new winning combinations occur. While this process is ongoing, every second win will change one of the Pig symbols into an additional wild symbol until all three Pig symbols are wild.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Big Bad Wolf’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be awarded 10 complimentary spins. During the complimentary spins any time you receive the ‘Moon’ symbol it will be banked at the top right hand side of the reels. Once you’ve collected 3 Moon symbols you will be awarded an additional 2 complimentary spins. If you collect 6 Moon symbols you’ll receive another 2 complimentary spins and all wins from that point on will be doubled.
