Guts Casino Gives QuickSpin Slot their Game of the Week

by Glenn Baird - November 23, 2020

QuickSpin’s Titan Thunder Wrath of Hades can boast not only a good review from ThePogg but can now add Guts.com game of the month to its growing reputation amongst slot’s fans.

Guts.com are no strangers to the Quickspin back catalogue, with each and every release from the software provider currently listed and ready to play in their casinos.

The latest release is another example of Quickspin tapping into ancient mythology to bring to life a slot that is about as epic as a slot can be.

Speaking of epic slots from Quickspin, a quick look through the Guts.com listings will reveal the sort of ambition that the software providers have. Titles like Hammer of Vulcan, Nero’s Fortune and Artemis and Medusa are just 3 examples of the company that Titan Thunder Wrath of Hades is keeping.

We gave the slot a reasonable 7 out of 10 and here’s why:

First thing is first, this is a stunner. Honestly, as slot design goes, QuickSpin are up there with the big boys these days and second you start this one up you can see the quality. Even the thumbnail tells the player that this will be more than a few bits of fruit on the reels.

The colours are those we all associate with Hades. Fire and Brimstone, flame and shadow mean that blacks, reds and oranges fill the reels. Add to your hellscape the Titans themselves and you’ve got something straight out the pages of epic poem.

Some Numbers

The most important numbers are the 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. The 25 paylines, all playing from left to right. The house edge that sits at a reasonable 3.75% and the betting range of 0.25 all the way up to 100 per spin, depending on your currency, of course.

Some Features

The big hitting feature in this slot is the jackpot. If you trigger the Jackpot feature then the symbols that did so will remain on the reels for the entirety of the feature. The only symbols that can land are coins, jackpot symbols and blank symbols. You will be given 3 initial spins, which will reset every time you land a symbol that is not blank. The feature ends when you have no more spins left or once you have filled the reels with coins or jackpot symbols. You can win the minor jackpot and the major jackpot by landing the corresponding symbols but to win the mega jackpot you must fill every symbol space. At the end of the feature the value of all coins and jackpot symbols are added together to give a cash prize.

There are also free spins that if we’re honest are fairly standard. If you trigger the Free Spins then you will be given 8 spins initially, with the chance to win 8 more every time you manage to land 3 Bonus symbols on the reels during the feature. Each retrigger will increase the win multiplier, which begins at 1x the bet, by 1.

You can pay to play the Free Spins whenever you like, and at 40x the bet I’ve much more expensive buy now options. Remember that not all jurisdictions will allow this feature.

Add a Wild symbol to this and you have everything you should get in a modern slot. We certainly liked it but felt that it lack anything all that original. Even though this is a worthy winner of the Guts.com slot of the week, there are better QuickSpin games out there.
