Swedish Affiliate in Website Clash

It was reported earlier this week in Swedish news outlet Breakit that an affiliate known as RakeTech has been accused of using an organisation designed to promote children’s health and well-being in schools to direct users towards online casinos.
Breakit claims that RakeTech used a domain name that was only very subtly different from Barnverket’s , simply changing the .se to .nu.
RakeTech’s website was apparently very similar to the original, in that it contained articles referring to the health and well-being of children in school. However, there was one reportedly significant difference and that was the switch in content to an article about casinos, containing links to what it referred to as “responsible” operators.
This site has since been shut down with RakeTech’s CEO, Michael Holmberg stating that he has offered to give the real BARNwerket the chance to take over the domain name used by his company.
