The Ambiance slots game can be found at casinos offering iSoftBet software. iSoftBet are one of the newer casino software providers on the market but they have managed to tie down some impressive branded slots game contracts. As a standard iSoftBet do not publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help file or paytables. However as part of the UKGC license requirements many UKGC licensed operators have started to publish this information for all of their games. As such we can tell from Trada’s site that the House Edge of Ambiance is 4.94% when playing maximum paylines/coins.
The mood is set with gentle atmospheric background music….
Ambiance is a 5 reel slots game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The game uses 20 paylines and you can bet one coin per payline.
The ‘Wild’ symbol is Wild.
There is only one bonus feature when playing Ambiance and it is triggered in stages. Each time you receive the ‘Treble Clef’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels it is banked at the bottom of the reels. When you have collected five or more of the Treble Clef scatter symbol you will be awarded a number of free spins equal to the number of Treble Clef symbols collected. During the free spins each time you receive a Treble Clef symbol you will be awarded and additional free spin. Each spin at least two randomly selected symbols will be transformed into Wild symbols.
Ambiance is a problematic release in the modern slots market. Graphically it’s reasonable without being stunning. Gamplay wise, the bonus features do not offer anything particularly original and most players familiar with slots games will have seen these types of features before. But the biggest let down is a House Edge that is inflated way above the range that is commonly being utilised in modern slots releases. So here we have a game that isn’t anything special to look at, isn’t anything special to play and that is charging you significantly more than a great many far better games. That doesn’t seem like a good combination to us.
