The Beats Bots slots game can be found at casinos offering Genii software. Genii is one of the newer software developers in the online gaming market. Alongside many of the smaller casino software providers Genii focus heavily on slots games. The House Edge/RTP of the Genii slots games is sometimes listed within the paytable for the newer games in their catalogue. For the older games, as Genii is partnered with UK licensed operators and the UKGC license requires the publication of this information, RTP figures can be found on numerous casino sites. However, Beats Bots is not currently listed with any UK licensed operators and as such the RTP is unknown.
Beats Bots is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The game plays over 40 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Beat Bots” symbol. The “Beat Bots” symbol will substitute for all symbols other than the Free Spins symbol. The “Beat Bot” symbol is the most valuable symbol in the game, with 5 of them earning you 4000 coins.
Free Spins– The “Robot DJ” symbol is the Free Spins symbol. 3 or more will trigger the game’s Free Spins feature. The symbol is a Scatter, meaning that it will trigger without needing to be part of any paylines.
Extra Wild – During the Free Spins feature the “DJ Robot” symbol will become an extra wild symbol instead of re-triggering the Free Spins. It will substitute for all symbols, except the standard wild symbols and will double the value of any wins it helps to form a payline with. The Extra Wilds are worth less than the main wild symbols with 5 being worth 1000 coins.
Free Spins – Landing 3 of the “Robot DJ” symbols will award you with 8 Free Spins. 4 of the “Robot DJ” symbols will award you with 12 Free Spins. 5 of the “Robot DJ” symbols will award you with 16 Free Spins. Free Spins cannot be re-triggered with any wins operating at the same bet value as the triggering spin.
Beats Bots is a decent looking game from Genii. In this game, the robots have taken over and are entrusted to do all the jobs that we used to. There are robot DJs, workmen and even a bored looking robot tech geek. Then, at the weekend those robots forget about the daily grind, hit the dancefloor and grab themselves a beer, a divide that is made clear through two sets of symbols. There are limited features for you to play here, with nothing more than some free spins and a wild symbol. The Extra Wilds are sold as a feature but are actually not as good now that they cannot re-trigger the Free Spins feature. However, not knowing the house edge means we cannot comment on the value for money on offer. As such it is difficult to rate the game too highly, something that could change if Beats Bots is ever picked up by an operator.
