Big Game Slot Review

The Big Game slots game can be found at casinos offering Genii software. Genii is one of the newer software developers in the online gaming market. Alongside many of the smaller casino software providers Genii focus heavily on slots games. The House Edge/RTP of the Genii slots games is sometimes listed within the paytable for the newer games in their catalogue. For the older games, as Genii is partnered with UK licensed operators and the UKGC license requires the publication of this information, RTP figures can be found on numerous casino sites. As such we know that the house edge for Big Game is 5.3%.

Big Game is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The game plays over 30 paylines, playing from left to right.

Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Lion”. The “Lion” symbol will substitute for all symbols other than the Free Spins symbol. Any win with a Wild symbol will double your win. The “Lion” is also the most valuable symbol in the game, with 5 of them as part of a winning payline earning you 6000 coins.

Free Spins– The “Elephant” symbol is the Free Spins symbol. 3 or more will trigger the game’s Free Spins feature.

Bonus Features

Free Spins – Landing 3 of the “Elephant” symbols will award you with 10 Free Spins. 4 of the “Elephant” symbols will award you with 15 Free Spins. 5 of the “Elephant” symbols will award you with 20 Free Spins. Free Spins can be re-triggered during the feature and all wins are multiplied by 3.

Big Game is a walk on the wild side, through the dusty savanna and into the lives of some of Africa’s most loved animals. All the main players are here, from lions and elephants, to giraffes and zebras. The animals are all drawn with a cartoonish quality that makes that all look that little bit cuter than they would do in the real world. The background is more jungle than flat plain but it is still drawn in a way that helps to make the game feel bright and cheerful. Could the symbols and the background look better? Absolutely they could. But from what I’ve seen of Genii’s games so far, this has to be considered one of their best-looking ones. However, it is one of their poorer efforts, in terms of the features that are available. All you get are Wilds and Free Spins, which simply is not enough to keep us engaged nearly long enough. The house edge is also a little disappointing, meaning that this is a game we probably wouldn’t recommend you go out of your way to play.
