The Book of Rebirth slot game can be found at casinos offering Spinomenal software. Spinomenal has been around for some time now and alongside many of the smaller casino software providers Spinomenal focus heavily on slots games. The House Edge/RTP of the Spinomenal slots games is listed within the paytable for the newer games in their catalogue. For the older games, as Spinomenal is partnered with UK licensed operators and the UKGC license requires the publication of this information, RTP figures can be found on numerous casino sites. As such, we know that the house edge for Book of Rebirth is 4.01%.
Book of Rebirth is a 5 reel game that is 3 symbols high. The game uses 10 standard paylines, playing from left to right.
The theme for this one is as you can already tell Ancient Egypt. You get scarab beetles, pyramids, Egyptian Kings and Queens and a whole host of other symbols synonymous with the theme.
Wild/Scatter – The “Book of Rebirth” symbol is both Wild and the Scatter. This means that it will substitute for all symbols, will pay out in combinations of 3 or more regardless of paylines and will trigger the Free Spins feature when you land 3 of them on a single spin.
Free Spins – If you trigger the Free Spins then you will be given 10 Free Spins in total. Once you have triggered the Free Spins a single reel will spin containing all the symbols in the slot, except the Wild Scatter. You need to press a button to stop the reel and determine which symbol will expand to fill the reel every time it lands during the feature. Wild Scatters are available during the feature, which means the Free Spins can be retriggered.
Hot off the heels of Egyptian Rebirth II comes Book of Rebirth. Now I really liked Egyptian Rebirth II, mainly because the Free Spins were excellent and the buy now feature didn’t cost the earth. Book of Rebirth looks just as good but that is where the positive similarities end for me. Instead of a reel of Wild symbols in the Free Spins you get one expanding symbol, that may or may not be valuable. The Buy Now Feature costs over 3 times as much to trigger, making it quite simply not worth the money. The house edge is higher and there are no additional features to give the standard base spins anything to distinguish them. My advice would be not to play this slot and go find Egyptian Rebirth II instead.
