Book of Riches Deluxe is a 5-reel game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The slot uses traditional paylines with 10 in total, playing from left to right.
Wild/Scatter – The Wild symbol is the “Book of Riches”, which will substitute for all paying symbols (it will not substitute for the Growing Symbol) and will trigger the Free Spins feature if you can land 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels.
Green Orb – The “Green Orb” is the Jackpot symbol. 6 or more of them (including Gold Orbs) will trigger the Jackpot Bonus.
Gold Orb – The “Gold Orb” is also a Jackpot symbol. 6 or more of them (including Green Orbs) will trigger the Jackpot Bonus.
Growing Symbol Feature – There is a random chance that after a win a symbol will b chosen (again at random) to fill the reel and give you another chance to win.
Jackpot Mania– 6 or more of the Green or Gold symbols on a single spin will trigger the Jackpot Mania. 3 respins are then awarded. The symbols that triggered the feature will remain in the reels and each time a Jackpot symbol lands it will remain in place and the number of respins will reset to 3. The number of spaces filled will determine the size of the jackpot awarded, with every space needing filled to land the Grand Jackpot.
Free Spins – 3, 4 or 4 Scatter symbols will all award 10 Free Spins, but with a xx2, x20 or a x200 multiplier on the triggering bet. During the Free Spins a random symbol will be chosen to become an expanding symbol, which will expand any time it lands on the reels. Expanding symbols cannot be substituted by Wilds. The feature can be retriggered.
The Book of Riches Deluxe slot is clearly an upgrade from the Book of Riches. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to play or review that slot, so this on will have to be taken purely on the merits that are right there in front of us. This is a standard Rubyplay slot that has a number of features I’ve seen before. The Jackpot is the same as in a few other Rubyplay slots and the Free Spins are nothing you won’t have seen before either. The slot looks good and it is offering good value for money. Whilst not exactly setting the world on fire, you still have an excellent slot, one we would recommend.
