The Bounty Raid slot can be found at casinos offering Red Tiger software. Red Tiger is now considered a well-established software provider with some extremely popular titles in their back catalogue. Red Tiger focus primarily on slots games but do offer a few table games, albeit a very limited range of them. In compliance with UK gaming legislation, Red Tiger publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slot games within their pay tables. As such, we can say that the House Edge for Bounty Raid is 4.21%.
Bounty Raid is a 5 reel slot and each reel is 3 symbols high. There are 10 paylines in total, playing from left to right.
Theme – Bounty Raid has a Western theme, which in this instance focuses on trying to capture outlaws and make money from the rewards on offer. This isn’t a slot with an abundance of features but any it does have focus on the idea of capturing bad guys for a profit.
Wild – There is no Wild symbol in this slot.
The Bounty Hunter – The “Bounty Hunter” symbol is a female character who can only land on the middle reel. When she lands on the reels she will lock all “Bandit” symbols in place for a respin, during which only more Bandits and Gold Coins can land. The cash amounts on each “Bandit” and Gold Coin symbol will then be added up to award an instant cash prize.
The Sheriff – The “Sheriff” symbol is a male character and will only appear on the middle reel. When he does he will award the combined total of all “Bandit” symbols that have landed on the same spin for an instant cash prize.
Bandit Symbols – There are various “Bandit” symbols that are identifiable because they come with a cash amount written on them. They will pay out in combination with either the “Bounty Hunter” symbol or the “Sheriff” symbol. The highest valued “Bandit” symbol is worth 50x the bet.
Gold Coins – These are only available on the respins that are triggered when the Bounty Hunter lands on the middle reel. They are additional Scatters that add funds to the amount accumulated by the Bandit symbols.
Any features that this slot has to offer have already been mentioned in the Symbols section of this review. There is the Bounty Hunter Respin and the 2 instant cash collection features that are so closely tied to specific symbols that it made more sense to write about them in that section.
Bounty Raid is a simple but smart slot that does well to make the most of the theme it uses. You don’t get Free Spins and if you do get a Bonus it only comes in the form of a single respin. I like the way that any features this slot does have link to the idea of capturing bad guys and that when successful this comes with an instant cash award. The slot is well-designed but I do think there could be more going on and the house edge is too high.
