The Castle Builder II slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard now publish the slots house edge information of all their games at any online casino that holds a UKGC license (this is a requirement for all UKGC licensed casinos. As such we can say that the House Edge of Castle Builder II is 4.50%. When playing at any venue that does not hold a UKGC license and does not specifically publish the Return to Player information for their game, this information should be used as a guideline only as we cannot confirm whether or not this game is configurable.
Build your way to favour with the powerful!
Castle Builder II is a 5 reel game that has 15 paylines.
The ‘Builder’ symbol is Wild.
Castle Builder uses a unique bonus system. During each spin you can receive the ‘Resource’ symbol. If you receive 3 or more of these on an active payline, that resource is added to your ‘Resource Pallet’. When your Resource Pallet is full (6 Resources) a new section will be built on your castle. The more valuable the Resources in the Resource Pallet when a section is added to the castle the more valuable the suitor you will attract to potentially marry the Princess who will inhabit the finished product. Each improvement to the castle increases the cash values of the suitors that have come. When the castle is complete you select one of the suitors to win the cash prize associated with that suitor.
Each time you finish building a Castle you’ll move on to building the next Castle. Each Castle requires more Resource symbols than the last. There are 15 kingdoms that require your building skills and 3 castles in each kingdom.
There are 3 different builder characters and some kingdoms are only accessible by specific builders. Each builder has a different skill set and some open up additional bonus features, like complimentary spins.
While I do like the Castle Builder format and theme, this game is very similar in structure to the original. Why would any player choose to pay more (in terms of House Edge) to play basically the same game? Go play the original Castle Builder.
