As such we know that the house edge for Cat Wilde and the Doom of the Dead is 3.71%.
Theme – This slot takes you into the bowels of an ancient Egyptian tomb where you, or Cat, will discover a world of terrifying mummies and expensive golden trophies.
The Cat Wilde and the Doom of the Dead game is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 10 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wild – Wild symbols will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters. When a Wild symbol lands on the reels it will expand to fill them, turning into 1 of 5 different mummies. All the Wild symbols have the same value.
Scatter – The “Compass” is also the game’s Scatter symbol. Three or more Scatter symbols will trigger the game’s Free Spin feature. The Scatter will also pay out at x3 the bet when you land 3 on the reels at once. Scatters can only land on reels 1, 3 and 5.
Cat Wilde – As I am sure you would have expected, the “Cat Wilde” symbol is the most valuable in the game. Combinations of these with Wild symbols will pay out big, so the more you can land the merrier you will be.
Free Spins – You trigger the Free Spins feature by landing 3 or more of the “Compass” Scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be granted 10 free spins. These can be re-triggered if you can land 3 or more of the “Compass” symbols during the Free Spins feature.
Before the Free Spins begin a symbol will be chosen at random. That symbol will expand to fill whatever reel it lands on once the spin has been completed. You can have multiple expanded symbols of the reels at once. The Wild symbol will substitute for special expanding symbols during this feature.
After making an appearance in the Rich Wilde and the Shield of Athena slot, Cat has finally emerged from her father’s shadow to head up an adventure of her own. The only problem being that she is following far too closely in her father’s footsteps. Honestly, there isn’t much divergence here from the classic Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead slot. In fact there is only one real difference and that is the inclusion of expanding Wilds in the base. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a welcome inclusion, because who doesn’t love an expanding Wild but I guess I just wanted a but more. Don’t get me wrong, I understand why Play ‘n’ Go went down this line. After all the years of success that Rich Wilde and the Book of Dead brought no other instalments in the series have rekindled those riches, despite there being some fun, engaging slots amongst them. The solution: give fans exactly what they want but with a tiny aesthetic twist that makes the game feel fresh. I don’t honestly see the appeal, but then again, I never got the appeal with the original. You never know, maybe Cat Wilde will help Play ‘n’ Go build their next wave of slot empire.
