Catch Phrase Slot Review

The Catch Phrase slots game is produced by Endemol. Endemol are one of the smaller slot development companies on the market at the moment and do not offer their own casino platform. Instead they lease their games out to casinos using other platforms. Endemol do not publish their slots house edge information. However some casinos offering their games do publish this information. When playing Catch Phrase at a casino that does not publish this information, the figures in this review should be treated as a guideline only – we cannot confirm whether this game is configurable.

The slots version of the classic game show.

This game is a 5 reel game, with 20 paylines and you can bet one coin on each payline.

The ‘Catch Phrase Logo’ symbol is wild and doubles all wins it contributes to.

There are three bonus features when playing Catch Phrase. The first is activated when you receive three or more of the ‘Ready Money’ bonus symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing 9 squares. Each time you press the buzzer one of the squares is uncovered revealing a number of complimentary spins or a multiplier. After you’ve pressed the buzzer four times you are taken back to the reels to play your complimentary spins.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Catch Phrase’ bonus symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing two contestants, the Catch Phrase screen with a puzzle to decode and a wheel marked with red and blue squares and an arrow. You press the ‘Buzz’ button and the colour that the arrow lands on decided with player answered the puzzle. You’ll be shown 5 different puzzles and the more puzzles that the player (red) answers the bigger the prize at the end of the feature.

The third bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Super Catch Phrase’ bonus symbol anywhere on the board. When this happens you are taken to a new screen showing the letters A through to Y. Pick one of the letters then you’ll be taken to a new screen showing the Super Catch Phrase board where you press the buzzer to collect letters to help you complete a line across the letter board. The more letters you collect the larger the prize at the end of the bonus feature.

Alongside Countdown, Catch Phrase is easily one of the best of the game show style slots games that WagerWorks has released.
