The Chimney Sweep slots game can be found at casinos offering Endorphina software. Endorphina are one of the newer casino software providers on the market but they have managed to gain distribution with some of the largest casino networks currently active within the market. As a standard Endorphina do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help file or paytables. As a software provider not licensed in the UK, and as such not required to publish this information, this is a significantly player friendly practice. As such we can state that the Chimney Sweep is 4.00%.
Chimney Sweep is a 5 reel slots game and each reel is 3 symbols high. The game uses 10 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins per payline.
Special Symbols
Wild – The “Chimney Sweep” is the Wild symbol, replacing all symbols other than Scatters. The “Chimney Sweep” is also the game’s most valuable symbol, with 5 as part of a winning combination awarding the player 9000 coins. One or more “Chimney Sweep” symbols in a winning combination will also multiply the bet by 2.
Scatter – The “Fire Place” symbol is the game’s Scatter symbol, helping to trigger the Free Spins feature.
Bonus Features
Take Risk – Whilst you might not necessarily class this as a bonus feature, it does play a significant role in the gaming experience. With every win you get the chance to try and double your win by trying your luck in a game of “Play Your Cards Right” with the game’s dealer. If you can flip over a card that is higher than the one the dealer is showing you will double your win. Flip a card that is lower than the dealer’s and you lose the lot. This round continues until you either choose to stop gambling or you lose out to the dealer. In the result of a tie, no one wins.
Free Spins – 3 or more “Fire Place” symbols will trigger the game’s main bonus feature. When this happened you will be awarded 15 free spins. During the free spins all wins are multiplied by 3 and the feature can be re-triggered with the bet remaining the same as it was to when the free spins were triggered.
Conclusion
Chimney Sweep is a game using a theme that I can honestly say I have never seen before. I understand the inclusion of just about every one of the symbols but I am struggling somewhat to work out why there is a pig chowing down on a 4 leaf clover. However, I will concede that I am not overly familiar with the life of a chimney sweep and am willing to plead ignorance on that one. The game looks OK, the symbols are detailed and the Dickensian world that the game rests in feels real enough. The free spins and re-spins are welcomed with open arms, as is the multiplier on the Wild symbol. The house edge is standard for Endorphina, meaning there is better value out there.
