The Cowboy Treasure game is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 5 paylines, playing from left to right and right to left, excluding scatters.
Wild – The “Sheriff’s Badge” symbol is Wild and substitutes for all symbols other than Scatters. Three Wild symbols will multiply the bet by 50, four will multiply the bet by 100 and 5 will multiply the bet by 200.
Scatter – The Scatter symbol is the “Gold Ring”.
Bonus – The Bonus symbol is the “Handgun”.
Bonus Feature – Collect three to five of the “Handgun” symbols to trigger the Free Spins feature. Three “Handgun” symbols will award the player with 7 free spins. Four “Handgun” symbols will award the player with 9 free spins. Five “Handgun” symbols will award the player with 14 free spins. During the free spins, the “Horseshoe” and the “Gold Coins” are stacked. You can re-trigger free spins up to 350 times and each time you do re-trigger you gain an additional 1 spin on top of the usual allocation. You also get to choose a symbol during the bonus spins and if that symbol appears more than any other symbol you gain additional free spins.
Scatter – If you reveal 3 or more golden rings circling symbols across the reels then you trigger the game’s jackpot. 3 rings will trigger the “Tasty Jackpot” on the bronze wheel and a chance to win up to 15 times your bet. 4 rings will randomly trigger either the “Tasty Jackpot” or the “Luxury Jackpot” and a chance to win up to 60 times your bet on the silver wheel. 5 rings will randomly trigger either the “Luxury Jackpot” or the “Dream Chance Jackpot” and a chance to win up to 300 times your bet.
Gamble – Winning lines can be gambled to gain an increased win. When you win you have the option to keep the win, try to double your win or try to treble it. If you want to double your win, you have to choose from 4 tiles. Two will win and two will lose you your bet. If you want to treble your win you need to choose between 3 tiles. One will win and two will lose you your bet. You can continue to double or treble your bet up to ten times in succession.
Cowboy Treasure is an average looking game with some pretty straightforward bonus features. The free spins are everything you could possibly wish for; re-triggers, bonus re-triggers, stacked reels and a nice little extra bonus spin possibility. Unfortunately, there isn’t much else going on, although the game does have the terrifying “Gamble” option and the standard Play ‘n Go “Gold Ring” bonus. The house edge is very reasonable, so all things considered, Cowboy Treasure holds up reasonably well.
