Coywolf Cash Slot Review

Released January 2020

The Coywolf Cash slot can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are considered an established provider of software for casinos. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Coywolf Cash is 3.69%.

The Coywolf Cash slot is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. The slot uses paylines, with 50 in total playing from left to right.

Theme

Coywolf Cash is a North American themed slot, with a slant towards a Native American setting. There are animals that you would associate with that environment, totem poles and masks that fit the theme.

Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Brown Wolf”, which will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters.

Scatters – The “Totem” is the Scatter symbol. You need 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels at once to trigger the Free Spins feature.

Mask Scatter – The “Mask Scatter” only appear on the middle reels and when it does it will trigger the Wild Reels feature, which will be described in more detail in our Bonus Features section.

Bonus Features

Wild Reels (Base Game) – If you trigger the Wild Reels during the base game then after your initial payout a new row will appear above the reels. It will spin and contain Wilds and X symbols. When the row stops spinning any reels with a Wild above it will become fully stacked with Wilds and an with an X will remain the same. You will then have a chance to win again. Up to 3 reels can turn fully Wild at once and the Wilds in question will be the “Blue Wolf” symbols, which are worth significantly more than “Brown Wolf” symbols.

Wild Reels (Free Spins) – These trigger in the same way during the Free Spins. In fact the only difference is that you can land up to 4 fully stacked Wild reels instead of 3. However, there is also a chance that a “Totem Mask” can appear on the top of the Wild Reel. If this happens then the Wilds that land will come with either a x2, x4 or a x7 multiplier. There is also the chance that a Totem Scatter can appear which award you with either 2 or 4 additional spins.

Free Spins – if you land 3, 4 or 5 Totem Scatters when trigger the feature you will be given 8, 11 or 15 Free Spins respectively. The Wild reels that are available during the Free Spins are described above.

Conclusion

Coywolf Cash is a solid slot that looks good and offers some excellent features. You get Wilds, Wild Reels and you get Free Spins. The Wild Reels offer you more during the Free Spins and that feature can be retriggered. The house edge is low, offering you excellent value for money.
