Deal or No Deal Slot Review

The Deal or No Deal game is made by IGT - the company behind WagerWorks casinos. IGT publish the house edge of their slots games with the paytable, however if the game has a range of possible settings, this figure is usually only given only as a range. Check with the casino you are playing at to find out if they give the exact value or range of possible values. The house edge of Deal or No Deal is 4.539%.

Have your own shot on one of the most popular game shows today.

As this isn’t a standard slots game it has neither reels, paylines or wild symbols.

When you play Deal or No Deal you are shown a screen with 26 boxes. You select one to be your lucky box. After this you open 6 boxes then, based on the prizes still available the dealer will make you an offer to give up playing the rest of the game. If you choose to keep playing you open another 5 boxes before a further offer, then 5 again, then 4 and finally 4 before you are left with just your lucky box and the last box at which point you automatically receive the prize in your lucky box. The optimum strategy – again assuming true odds – is to decline all banker offers. There are some banker offers that are even (i.e. the expected payout from playing on is the same as from taking the deal), but mostly you are giving up more when you take the bankers offers.

Conclusion

If you are a big fan of the game show I’m sure Deal or No Deal has a lot to offer. The format in itself is fairly exciting and gives the player a lot of control over the outcome.
