The Emerald King slot game can be found at casinos offering Pragmatic Play software. Pragmatic Play should now be considered an established software provider, with a fairly prolific output. As a standard Pragmatic Play do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within their game help file. For a provider that are not currently licensed within the UK market and therefore are under no obligation to publish these figures this is a significantly progressive move. The House Edge for Emerald King is 3.49%.
Emerald King has 5 reels and each reel sits at 3 symbols high. The slot uses traditional paylines with 20 in total, playing from left to right.
Theme – Emerald King has an Irish theme. Expect leprechauns, pipes, rainbows and pots of gold.
Wild – The Wild is the “Pot of Gold”. It will substitute for all symbols and can appear on all reels. The Wild can appear like any other symbol or it can be added when there is a random clover above the reels, or the pot of gold at the top of the reels can add them at random.
Win Multiplier – There is a Win multiplier in play that will begin at 1x the bet. Following a spin with no win it can increase by 1x the bet. However, it might not always do this and it can reset to 1x the bet at random. In other words, there is no obvious pattern to the workings of the Win Multiplier.
Giant Symbols – Some symbols can appear as 2x2 or 3x3 sized giant symbols. This happens at random.
Mini Slots Feature – You will notice that some of the reels have a green background sitting behind the symbols. Essentially, this only matters if that green background covers all 5 reels in their entirety, at which point you will trigger the Mini Slots Feature. When the feature is triggered you will be paid 2x the bet for any winning combinations. Then, up to 15 mini slot machines will appear on the screen, each one either 2x2 or 3x3. Following a win each mini slot will stop spinning once you fail to land another win. Once all the mini slots have stopped spinning the feature is over.
