Emoji Planet is a non-standard slots game. It uses a 6x5 grid of symbols. Whenever you have 5 or more matching symbols either horizontally or vertically adjacent this forms a winning combination. Emoji symbols automatically win a prize. Other symbols win a prize and fill up the matching meter on the right side of the reels. When symbols contribute to a win they are removed the symbols above them fall down and new symbols fall into the top of the grid to fill the spaces. This repeats until no new winning combinations are formed. The symbol meters at the right hand side of the reels reset at the end of each spin.
The ‘Star’ symbol is Wild.
There are five bonus features when playing Emoji Planet and they are all triggered by filling up one of the symbol meters on the right hand side of the reels. It takes 12 winning symbol combinations to fill up a meter. Features will not be triggered until all winning combinations have been paid. As such it is possible to trigger the same feature more than once before they are triggered.
Filling the Heart meter multiplies the total win for the round by the number of times the meter is filled plush one.
Filling the Rocket meter causes a stack of 10 Star Wild symbols to be added to the reels.
Filling the Kiss meter adds 3 sticky Wild symbols to the reels. Each Wild symbols remain in place until they have contributed to 3 winning combinations.
Filling the Pizza meter causes a 3x3 block of the reels to be replaced with a random symbols other than the Star Wild symbol.
Filling the Bomb meter 8 random symbols on the reels are blown up and you are awarded a prize of between 5 and 100x your bet for each symbol blown up.
Emoji Planet has an unusual but not unique game format, a decent selection on bonus features and a reasonable House Edge. It’s hard to find much not to like.
