There are three bonus features when playing Football Championships Cup. The first bonus feature is activated when you receive three or more of the ‘Bonus’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you’ll be taken to a new screen to play in a penalty shootout. There are 5 rounds and each round consists of 2 parts. In the first part you select a section of the net to try and shoot past the opposing team’s goalie. Each goal scored adds one to your team’s score and awards a coin win. In the second part you select an area of the net to defend to try and prevent the opposing team scoring. For each goal saved your win multiplier increases by one. At the end of the bonus feature your coin win will be multiplied by your total multiplier.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive the ‘Trophy’ scatter symbol anywhere on reels 2, 3 and 4. When this happens you will enter into a football tournament. There are 4 rounds in the tournament each consisting of 6 complimentary spins. During the complimentary spins a ‘Blue Scoring Wild’ is added to reels 1 and 2 and a ‘Red Scoring Wild’ is added to reels 4 and 5. Each time you receive a Blue Scoring Wild your team’s score increases by 1 and the Red Scoring Wild increases your opponent’s score by 1. The team with the highest score at the end wins the round. In the case of a tie additional complimentary spins are played until one team wins. If your team loses you are out of the tournament. If you finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the tournament you win an additional coin prize of your bet multiplied by 500, 100 or 20.

The third bonus feature is activated randomly on any spin and overlays between 2 and 5 randomly selected symbols with Wild symbols. Football Wild symbols will not be overlaid.
