The Fruitoids slots game is produced by Yggdrasil Gaming. Yggdrasil Gaming take their name from Norse mythology where Yggdrasil is a magical tree where dragons lived and Odin sacrificed himself. Yggdrasil Gaming are one of the smaller slot development companies on the market at the moment – with a strong focus on the development of slots games – but have gained a strong portfolio of clients and are now branching out to round out their games offerings with other types of casino games. They lease their games out to casinos using other platforms as a bolt on package. Yggdrasil Gaming publish the Return to Player/House Edge of their slots games within the game help file. The House Edge of Fruitoids is 3.3%.

The Fruitoids game has 5 reels and each reel is 3 symbols high. This game has with 5 paylines and you can bet one coin per payline. Wins pay both left to right and right to left.
There is no Wild symbol when playing Fruitoids.
There is only one bonus feature when playing Fruitoids and it is triggered whenever you receive a winning combination. When this happens the symbols that contributed to the win will be locked in place and all other symbols will be respun. If further symbols are received that augment the winning combination they will be locked in place and another respins will occur. This process repeats until no new symbols are added to the winning combination. A multiplier is applied to the total win that is equal to the total number of consecutive reels, starting from the left side of the reels, that are completely filled with symbols that contribute to the win.
Fruitoids simply isn’t up to the usually very high standards of Yggdrasil Gaming. The game is visually sharp and pleasing as always but the bonus feature has been done in many other games so offers nothing new. That said it is packaged up with a House Edge that approaches the lower end of the range typically being used by new slot releases, stopping this being a poor game, but there are better games out there that you can play for less.
