Galacticons Slot Review

The Galacticons slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard do not publish the slots house edge information of their games. However they lease their slots games out to casinos using other software, some of which do publish this information. So far we’ve only found one casino – BETAT – that has published this information for Galacticons and they list the house edge as 4%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.

The Galacticons game has 5 reels and does not use standard paylines. Instead any 3 or more matching symbols on adjacent reels starting from the left side of the reels constitutes a win. This is equivalent to 243 standard paylines.

The ‘Galaxy’ symbol is wild and doubles all wins it contributes to.

There is only one bonus feature when playing Galacticons and it is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Sun’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be awarded between 10 and 20 complimentary spins depending on how many Sun symbols you received. During the complimentary spins a Black Hole will move round the reels. At the end of each spin certain symbol will be sucked into the Black Hole if they are adjacent to it and each consumed symbol will award a prize. Alien and Spaceship symbols award a random cash prize of up to 5x the triggering bet, Sun symbols award an extra free spin and Galaxy symbols will double the total winnings from your complimentary spins.

Conclusion

An interesting free spin feature with a lower than average house edge is good, but it doesn’t make Galacticons a top shelf game.
