Gold Ahoy Review

Your search returned no results.

The Gold Ahoy slots game is produced by NextGen. NextGen are one of the smaller slot development companies on the market at the moment and do not offer their own casino platform. Instead they lease their games out to casinos using other platforms. NextGen appear to publish the house edge of their slots within the paytable file for the game, though this may not be universal. As such the figures contained within this review should be treated as a guideline only when playing at any casino that does not explicitly state the settings they are using.

Gold on the horizon to starboard.

This game is a 5 reel game with 25 paylines and you can bet one coin on each payline.

The ‘Pirate’ symbol is wild.

There are two bonus features available when playing Gold Ahoy. The first is activated when you receive 3 of the ‘Treasure Chest’ symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be asked to click on one of the Treasure Chest symbols and will be awarded a random prize. If you reveal a ‘Win All’ you’ll win the prizes for all the chests.

The second bonus features is activated when you receive three or more of the ‘Treasure Map’ symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a map of an island showing 13 different hidden treasure. Pick locations to dig one at a time to reveal free spins and multipliers. When you reveal a skull and crossbones you are taken back to the reels to complete the free spins you’ve collected.

Closing Thoughts

A fair game with house edge a little higher than the entertainment warrants, but not prohibitiously so.
