Golden Balls Slot Review

The Golden Balls slots game was produced by the GameSys slots design company and is leased out by casinos using many different primary casino platforms. As a standard GameSys do not include the house edge information of their slots games, however some casino do list this information in the game help files. It is not clear whether their games are configurable and as such you should treat the information in this review as a guideline only when playing at a casino that does not explicitly state the house edge they use.

Based on the short lived game show, it’s time to find out if your balls are golden.

This game is a 5 reel game with 20 paylines and you can bet one coin on each of the paylines.

The ‘Golden Balls Logo’ symbol is wild.

There are three bonus features when playing Golden Balls. The first bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 of the ‘Golden Ball’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing 11 golden balls. You select 5 balls, each awarding a prize. Any balls that reveal ‘Killer’ when opened win no prize.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 4 of the Golden Ball scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will receive continuous complimentary spins until the ‘Killer’ symbol turns up on reel 3.

The third bonus feature is activated when you receive 5 of the Golden Ball scatter symbol anywhere on the reels or can be triggered randomly at the end of any spin. When this happens you will be taken to a new set of reels and given 5 spins to line up the ‘Jackpot’ symbols on the payline. Each spin that a Jackpot symbol lands on the payline, the symbol is then locked in place for the remaining spins. At the end of the 5 spins, if you received any Jackpot symbols on the payline you are taken to a new screen showing two golden balls. Select one of the golden balls – if you reveal ‘Split’ you get your current win and if you reveal ‘Steal’ your win is doubled. If you received 5 Jackpot symbols on the reels, the Split and Steal award the Split and Steal jackpots respectively.

Conclusion

Golden Balls is really good fun with plenty of bonus feature variation and a reasonable house edge – two thumbs up.
