Hercules High and Mighty is a 5 reel game with 150 paylines. 50 paylines are used in the standard games and a further 100 paylines are used when the reels are expanded. Not all paylines are active at every stake level. See the seventh page of the paytable for further details.

The ‘Hercules’ symbol is Wild and is stacked 3 symbols high. When you receive a full stack of Hercules symbols the reels will increase in height from 5 symbols high to 10 symbols high and the Hercules symbol will expand to cover the entire expanded reel.

There are two bonus features when playing Hercules High and Mighty. The first bonus features is triggered when you receive three or more of the Gold Coin scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. As the Gold Coin symbol is two symbols high, even a one symbol part of the Gold Coin symbol in the active play area will count towards triggering the free spins. When this happens you will be awarded 8, 12 or 20 free spins depending on the number of Gold Coin scatter symbols you receive. During the free spins the reels will start at 5 symbols high even if they were expanded when the free spins were triggered. Free spins can be retriggered.

The second bonus feature can be activated before any spin by pressing the ‘Big Bet’ button. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing three different options:

- For a bet of 20 credits you’ll receive 5 spins. During the Big Bet spins any part of the Hercules Wild symbols that lands in the active play area will cause the reels to expand and the reel that you received the Hercules Wild symbol on to turn into a Wild reel.

- For a bet of 30 credits you’ll receive 5 spins. During the Big Bet spins any part of the Hercules Wild symbols that lands in the active play area will cause the reels to expand and the reel that you received the Hercules Wild symbol on to turn into a Wild reel. Also, low paying symbols – Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spade, are removed from the reels for the duration of the Big Bet spins.

- For a bet of 50 credits you’ll receive 5 spins. During the Big Bet spins any part of the Hercules Wild symbols that lands in the active play area will cause the reels to expand and the reel that you received the Hercules Wild symbol on to turn into a Wild reel. Also, low paying symbols – Hearts, Clubs, Diamonds and Spade, are removed from the reels for the duration of the Big Bet spins. If no win is generated while Hercules has expanded the reels, the reels will remain expanded and the reel that the Hercules symbol landed on will be a locked Wild symbol until the next spin that generates a win.
