The Hit it Hard slot game can be found at casinos offering Elk Studios software. Elk Studios are a small but quickly growing casino software developer primarily focusing on the mobile market. At the present time they only offer slots games. Players should be aware that this software provider includes ‘betting strategies’ as an automated feature. These should be avoided. They offer no mathematical gain to the player and increase the risk of large losses in comparison to your bankroll. As a standard Elk Studios do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within their game paytable. As such we can say that the House Edge of Hit it Hard is 3.7%.
Hit it Hard is a 3 reel slot and each reels sits a 3 symbols high. There are 5 paylines, each one playing from left to right.
The theme for this one is very much a traditional fruit machine. This is a slot for the sake of slots. No characters, no story, just reels and a fairly crazy bonus feature, which I’ll describe later in the review.
Wild – The Wild symbol can only appear on reel 3 and when it does so it will come with a multiplier and will award you a respin if you fail to land a win.
Bonus – The Bonus symbol is the “Dice”, which again only appears on reel 3. This will come with a x10 multiplier and will trigger the bonus game, which will be described below.
Hit it Hard Bonus – If you trigger the Bonus feature then the first thing you will do is roll a dice to determine how far along the bottom of the top grid you move. This will award you a number of Free Spins, and if you win on any of them you will get to spin the dice again, once your Free Spins have ended. If you keep landing on Free Spins, this process can continue but there is also a chance that you can land on one of the other Bonus features, all of which I will describe separately beneath. It is also worth pointing out that as you move further round the grid your Free Spins come with multipliers.
Lucky Ballz – This is a mini pachinko game where you get to launch three balls into the area in order to pick up a series of multipliers that will be applied to the triggering bet. You are guaranteed a win, which means you will continue around the grid once you have finished.
Super Ballz – This is exactly the same game as Lucky Ballz, except this time you have an unlimited number of spins, with the feature ending when you land the same multiplier twice. Again, you are guaranteed a win, so you can continue around the grid.
Stacked Wilds – You get 3 Free Spins. On the first Spin reel 3 will have reel stacked with Wilds. On the second Spin reel 2 will have a reel stacked with Wilds and on the final spin both reel 2 and 3 will be fully stacked with Wilds. If you win on any you can continue around the grid.
Wild Spins – You get 10 spins with a Wild on reel 3 every time. The multiplier can change on each spin.
Quantum Leap – This can move you much further through the grid than a standard dice roll.
Power Run – Can move you up to 6 spaces ahead. You will trigger every space that you move past along the way.
Break the Bank – To trigger this you need to collect 2 Keys, which will mean moving around the grid twice and then land on the vault. If you do so you will trigger the “Maximum Win.”
