Hotlines Review

Your search returned no results.

The Hotlines slots game is produced by Net Entertainment. Net Entertainment do make the house edge information of their slots games available and this can be found in the help files of the game (usually accessed by pressing the ‘?’ button at the bottom left of the game window). Net Entertainment games appear to only have one setting. Hotlines has 3 different House Edge figures depending on how many Hotlines are played. 3.87% when playing one Hotline, 3.30% when playing two Hotlines and 2.96% when playing all 3 Hotlines.

Hark back to the ’80 with a game that calls to the theme of Miami Vice.

Hotlines is a 5 reel game with 30 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins on each payline.

The ‘Red Ferrari’ symbol is Wild.

There are two bonus features when playing Hotlines. The first bonus feature is active on every spin. The player can choose whether 1, 2 or 3 rows of the reels are considered ‘Hotlines’. The more Hotlines the more a spin will cost. When a Red Ferrari Wild symbol lands in a position on a row that has been played as a Hotline, the Red Ferrari Wild symbol expands to cover the reel it landed on and all other reels respin. If further Red Ferrari Wild land on a Hotline the process will repeat. All expanded Wild symbols remain locked in place until all respins are completed.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Sunset’ scatter symbols anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5. When this happens you will be awarded 7 free spins. During the free spins any Red Ferrari Wild symbol that lands on a Hotline will expand to cover the reel it lands on and remain locked in place for the duration of the free spins.

Closing Thoughts

Hotlines isn’t a classic as far as Net Entertainment games are concern. It has all the look and feel that NetEnt games usually do, but it lacks anything significantly different or interesting in terms of bonus features. The Hotlines themselves are vaguely interesting, but betting extra money to get extra free symbols has been done many times before. What Hotlines does have is an extremely attractive House Edge when playing all three Hotlines and this makes this game good value for money if nothing else.
