Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is “Hugo” and will substitute for all symbols other than the Bonus and Scatter symbols. The Wild symbol is also one of the most valuable in Hugo’s Adventure.

Bonus – The Bonus symbol is the “Submarine”. 2 of them on a single spin will trigger the Underwater Adventure Bonus. “Submarine” symbols are only available on reels 2 and 4.

Scatter – The Scatter symbol is the “Aeroplane”. 3 of them on a single spin will trigger the Free Spins feature. “Aeroplane symbols are only available on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Features

Free Spins – If you trigger the feature you can win up to 20 Free Spins. In this set of Free Spins you can win and lose lives, all of which will determine what happens to you once your Free Spins have ended. The Air Adventure begins with you being awarded one life and you will be awarded an additional life for every “Balloon” symbol that you land during your spins. If Hugo still has 1 life remaining after 20 spins then the “Underwater Adventure” bonus is triggered after the Free Spins have ended. If Hugo still has 2 lives remaining after 20 spins then he will gain an extra life during the “Underwater Adventure” feature. The Free Spins come with the following extra features:

Flying Wilds – There is a chance that Flying Wilds may be added to the reels. If this happens they will appear on the right-hand side of the reels and move one space to the left with each spin before disappear off the edge of the reels.

Extra Balloons – Up to 4 “x2 Extra Balloons” can appear on the reels on random spins. If a win is formed you can win up to x16 on a payline.

Air Mines – These are bad. If one appears Hugo will lose a life. If he loses all his lives then the Free Spins feature will end.

Underwater Adventure Bonus – You trigger this bonus by landing 2 “Submarine” symbols on the reels at once or by finishing the Free Spins feature with one life remaining. When this happens you will take part in a click an reveal game but before that begins you will be awarded 1, 2 or 3 lives and you can carry one life over into the game if you had 2 remaining at the end of the Free Spins. Chests award multipliers but also come with X symbols that will take one of Hugo’s lives. There are 3 sets of chests available with a x20 multiplier available on the 3rd level.
