The Ice and Fire slot game is produced by Yggdrasil Gaming. Yggdrasil Gaming take their name from Norse mythology where Yggdrasil is a magical tree where dragons lived and Odin sacrificed himself. Yggdrasil Gaming are one of the smaller slot development companies on the market at the moment – primarily focusing on lottery and scratch card games – and do not offer a full casino platform. They lease their games out to casinos using other platforms as a bolt on package. Yggdrasil Gaming publish the Return to Player/House Edge of their slots games within the game help file. The House Edge of Ice and Fire is 3.36%.

Ice and Fire uses two separate sets of reels with each one sitting at 5x5 reels. The game has traditional paylines, using a total of 60 in each set of reels, playing from left to right.

Cascades – Any time you form a win the symbols involved will disappear, existing symbols will drop down into the spaces left behind and new symbols will be added to the reels.

Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is the “Magic Book” that will substitute for all symbols other than Scatter symbols. When a set of Wild symbols appears on one set of reels it will be places on the other set in the same place, replacing any existing symbols, other than Scatters.

Scatter – The Scatter symbol is the “Golden Egg”. 3 or more of them across both sets of reels after a single spin will trigger the Multiplier Feature.

Bonus Features

Free Spins – You trigger the Free Spins feature by landing or more cascades in a single spin. Before the feature begins you will need to choose from a set of Dragons to reveal either 8, 10 or 15 Free Spins with either 100 or 150 extra Wilds added to the reels. The feature can be retriggered in the same way it was originally triggered, at which point you will be awarded the same number of Free Spins with the same number of Extra Wilds again. The Multiplier Feature cannot be triggered during the Free Spins.

Multiplier Feature – If you land 3 or more of the Scatter symbols across both the reels then you will be given 10 “Super Free Spins”. Any additional Scatters award an additional 5 Free Spins each. During the feature more Wilds are added to the reels and a win multiplier will be in place. The multiplier begins at 1 and will increase by 1 after every cascade. You cannot re-trigger this feature or trigger the Free Spins feature.
