Immortal Glory Slot Review

Released July 2020

The Immortal Glory slot can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard now publish the slots house edge information of all their games at any online casino that holds a UKGC license (this is a requirement for all UKGC licensed casinos). As such we can say that the House Edge of Immortal Glory is 3.81%. When playing at any venue that does not hold a UKGC license and does not specifically publish the Return to Player information for their game, this information should be used as a guideline only as we cannot confirm whether or not this game is configurable.

Immortal Glory is a 5 reel slot, with 4 symbol spaces in each reel. The slot uses traditional paylines, with 40 in total, playing from left to right.

Theme – This slot has a historical theme, with the action taking place in Ancient Greece. The slot celebrates the Olympics, with discus throwers, shot-putters and runners all making up the main symbols. It is likely that this slot was meant to coincide with the now postponed Tokyo games.

Special Symbols

Wild – The “Olympic Torch” is the Wild symbol, which will substitute for all symbols other than Jackpot symbols. Wilds also come stacked and if you can land one fully stacked then you will trigger the Free Spins feature.

Jackpot – If you can land 3 or more of the Jackpot symbols anywhere on the reels then you will trigger the Jackpot. Jackpot symbols only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Bonus Features

Jackpot – There are 3 Jackpots available for you to win: The Bronze, Silver and Gold Jackpots. Whichever one you win will be decided at random.

Free Spins – You trigger the Free Spins feature when you land a partial or fully stacked Wild on reel 1 and any other reel. If you do so you will be given 5 Free Spins. During the Free Spins, any Wilds that land that are not fully stacked will nudge into place to fill the reel. After the final spin if there is at least one partially visible Wild stack then you will be awarded a Glory Spin.

Glory Spin – During the Glory Spin, any partially filled Wild symbols will nudge to fill the reels will stick in place whilst all the other reels spin again. You will then be awarded either a 2x, 3x, 5x or a 10x multiplier that will be applied to any wins that land during the Glory Spin. The multiplier is chosen at random.

Conclusion

Immortal Glory is not offering anything you won’t have seen before. The Greek theme is far from unique, although I will give the developers some credit as it’s much less common to see an Olympic theme opposed to a Greek Gods theme. The design is nothing to get all that excited about either, with an aesthetic on display that will fail to inspire. You get stacked Wilds that can nudge into place and you get Free Spins. There is also a Jackpot on offer that ticks all of our feature boxes. The house edge is offering decent value for money too, but again is nothing to get all that excited about.
