Theme

IO is a science fiction themed slot. The colours are neon, predominantly pinks and purples. A giant purple planet, something similar to Jupitar can be seen beyond the reels, giving the impression that you are sat on a space ship or station.

Avalanche – Every time you form a winning combination the symbols involved will disappear from the reels, with new ones dropping down into place and with an additional row appearing above the existing ones. As this happens you will increase the number of ways to win. The rows can reach the maximum height of 8 rows.

Special Symbols

Wild – The Wild symbol is a “W”, which will substitute for any regular symbol.

Charged Wild – The Charged Wild acts a regular Wild except it comes with 4 lives. You lose a life when it helps to form a win and sill remain on the reels as a regular Wild on the spin following the loss of its 4th life. Charged Wilds will remain on the reels throughout this process.

Bonus– The “Planet” is the Bonus symbol. You need 3 or more of them anywhere on the reels to trigger the Free Drops feature.

Wild Forge – The Wild Forge symbol will fill a space below with a multiplier. The multiplier will increase with each drop.

Laser – Laster symbols will fire a laser into the symbols in a straight line in whatever direction they are facing. Those symbols will then disappear from the slot, creating a mini avalanche. If 2 Laser beams intersect, regular symbols along the beams up to the intersection point will become Wilds.

Bonus Features

Free Drops – If you trigger the Free Drops feature you are given 7 Free Spins and the symbols will come stacked 8 symbols high. The feature can be retriggered.
