The Iron Girl game can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing providers in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Iron Girl is 4%.
The Iron Girl game has 5 reels and each reel is 3 symbols high. This game uses 20 paylines, playing from left to right.
Wild – The pink “Iron Girl” symbols are Wild, substituting for all symbols.
Villain Re-Spins – When you land a winning combination of Villain and Wild symbols the Villain symbols will be held in place and you will automatically be awarded a re-spin. The highest paying combination will always award the re-spin and you can re-trigger the re-spins.
Bounty Bonus – When the Villain Re-Spins have concluded a Villain Reward will be triggered. When this happens the number of notches on the meter sitting to the side of the wheel will decide on the reward:
The Green/Yellow Level will award 8 sicky Villain symbols and 2 “Iron Girl” Wilds will be randomly added to the reels.
The Orange Level will award 10 sticky Villain symbols and the total win on the final re-spin will be multiplied by 2.
The Red Level will award 12 sticky Villain symbols and the total win on the final re-spin will be multiplied by 3.
The Pink Level will award 14 sticky Villain symbols and the total win on the final re-spin will be multiplied by 5.
Iron Armour – At any time, the Iron Armour feature can be triggered, which will randomly add up to 5 wilds on the reels.
Iron Girl is a jump into the world of intergalactic bounty hunting, where your girl, “Iron Girl, hunts down Villains and brings those bad guys to justice. The theme is an entirely original one for me and it gives the avid slots player just about everything they could ask for. The game looks great, with the developers taking full advantage of the OTT theme. They do this through the interesting looking characters that exist on the reels and bright vivid colour scheme that has been used. There are Wilds but, no Scatters, meaning that bonus features have a slightly unconventional triggering mechanism. The game comes with plenty of interesting features that will help keep you engaged but deep down, when you strip away all the fun stuff, this really is a straight forward slots game. You’d play this if you wanted something that looked a little different but still offered you, just about, everything you normally see in a slots game. Play n Go are sticking with the 4% house edge for the foreseeable future, so as always it means that this game doesn’t offer the best value for money.
