James Win Review

The James Win slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard now publish the slots house edge information of all their games at any online casino that holds a UKGC license (this is a requirement for all UKGC licensed casinos. As such we can say that the House Edge of James Win is 4.00%. When playing at any venue that does not hold a UKGC license and does not specifically publish the Return to Player information for their game, this information should be used as a guideline only as we cannot confirm whether or not this game is configurable.

The budget James Bond.

James Win is a 5 reel game with 30 paylines and you can only bet 1 coin per payline.

The ‘Wild’ symbol is Wild.

There are three bonus features when playing James Win. The first bonus feature is activated when you receive the stacked ‘Phone Box’ Wild symbol in every position on reel 3. When this happens up to 6 other symbols can be randomly turned into Wild symbols and all wins with these symbols will be doubled.

The second bonus feature is activated when you receive the ‘Male Spy’ bonus symbol anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing a game board. Spin the wheel to move round the game board. You can land on prizes, a mission which awards one or more prizes or a spy. You keep spinning until you land on a spy or reach the end of the end of the game board. When this happens you’ll be taken to the ‘Secret Room’ to collect your prizes. If you’ve not collected any prizes you will be awarded 2x the triggering bet.

The third bonus feature is triggered when you receive the ‘Binoculars’ bonus symbol anywhere on reels 2, 3 or 4. When this happens you will be awarded 7 complimentary spins. Complimentary spins cannot be retriggered.

Closing Thoughts

The most jarring point about James Win is graphics that look 15 years old and in the fast paced technology markets that’s a big setback. Aside from this are pretty basic bonus features that have some variety but are nothing massively original and there’s not a lot to draw you to this game.
