The Kings of Chicago game can be found at Net Entertainment casinos. Net Entertainment do make the house edge information of their slots games available and this can be found in the help files of the game (usually accessed by pressing the ‘?’ button at the bottom left of the game window). Net Entertainment games appear to only have one setting.
Kings of Chicago is a very interesting slots game crossed with video poker. The theme for the game – as is fitting – is the old mobsters of Chicago
This game is a 5 reel game, with 5 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins on each payline.
The Joker cards are wild.
Each round you are deal three rows of five cards. The payline are the three straight row and two V shaped lines running from the corners. The paytable is based on poker hands with any hand of three or a kind or stronger receiving a payout. The winning combination do not have to run left to right – so for example as long as three of the same card turn up on the line you will be paid for three of a kind – it does not matter if the three cards are in a row at the start of the line or not.
Any card can appear with a golden scatter band. If you receive 3 or more of the scatter cards on any round you activate the free spin mode where you will get either 10, 15 or 30 free deals – depending on how many scatter symbols you received – with all wins doubled.
What is especially interesting about Kings of Chicago is that it appears to be dealt from a real deck. After playing extensively, we never came across any round with duplicate cards (which would indicate more than one deck of cards were in play). Whether all cards are equally likely to come out or not would require far more in-depth analysis.
Overall, Kings of Chicago added a really interesting new twist to a slots game, making it great fun and well worth a look and with one of the lowest house edges on the market, Kings of Chicago is a game every slots fan should get stuck into.
