Loot'enkhamun Slot Review

The Loot'enkhamun slots game is produced by the Bwin/Party group. This group provide the house edge information for some of their slots games and not for other, with no apparent rhyme or reason for the games they miss out. As such, if you are going to play with them we would recommend only playing games that they list the house edge information for. However we don’t recommend playing with this group at all due to their unwillingness to engage in 3rd party dispute mediation. For further information see the Bwin Casino Review.

Ancient Egypt updated for the greedy modern age.

Loot’enkhamun had 5 reels and does not use standard paylines. Instead any three or more consecutive matching symbols starting from reel 1 award a prize. This equates to 243 standard paylines.

There is no wild symbol when playing Loot’enkhamun.

There are two bonus features when playing Loot’enkhamun. The first is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Hieroglyph’ symbols anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing an explorer in front of 4 row of 3 hieroglyph tiles in front of a monkey statue. You select one tile from each row to help navigate the explorer across to the statue. Each tile can award either complimentary spins, a multiplier or can cause the explorer to fall to his doom. If the explorer falls or reaches the statue the bonus feature ends and you are taken back to the reels to complete your complimentary spins.

The second bonus feature involves the progressive jackpot and as it cannot be activated when playing for free we can only give limited information on it. It seems to be activated randomly at the end of any spin and when this happens you will be taken to a new screen with a Wheel of Fortune type game to decide which level of jackpot you’ve won.

Loot’enkhamun has some alright bonus features and an average house edge. It should be noted however that it is likely that much of this low house edge is accounted for by very high and very rare jackpot events and as such it is likely that most players are playing against a far larger ‘realistic’ house edge.
