The Mad Hatters slots game can be found at Microgaming casinos. Microgaming as a standard do not publish the slots house edge information of their games. However they lease their slots games out to casinos using other software, some of which do publish this information. So far we’ve only found one casino – Bet Victor – that has published this information for Mad Hatter and they list the house edge as 3.92%. When playing at any other venue, this information should be used as a guideline only as the game may be configurable.
“I'm one card short of a full deck
I'm not quite the shilling
One wave short of a shipwreck
I'm not at my usual top billing
I'm coming down with a fever
I'm really out to sea”
This game is a 5 reel game with 30 paylines and you can bet up to 10 coins on each payline.
The ‘Hat’ symbol is wild and when it lands on reel 3, expands to make the whole reel wild.
There are two bonus features when playing Mad Hatters. The first is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Cuckoo Clock’ scatter symbol anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be asked to click on one of the Cuckoo Clock symbols and receive a random prize.
The second bonus feature is activated when the ‘Rabbit in a Hat’ symbol lands on reels 2, 3 and 4. When this happens you will be taken to a new screen showing the three mad hatters. Click on one to decide which symbol will be your additional wild symbol during the complimentary spins. You will then be awarded between 10 and 50 complimentary spins depending on how many of the Rabbit in a Hat symbols you received with all wins doubled.
Slightly more creative than the standard Microgaming’s fare and a house edge that’s at least worth taking note of make Mad Hatters a reasonable choice.
