The Magic Stars: 9 game can be found at casinos offering Wazdan software. Wazdan is one of the better established software developers in the online gaming market having been in operation since 2010. Unlike many of the smaller casino software providers Wazdan offer a selection of casino table games featuring some of the major table games, with a strong focus on slots games. Wazdan do publish the RTP/House Edge information for their slots games within their games. As such we can say that the House Edge for Magic Stars: 9 is 3.79%.
Magic Stars: 9 is a 3 reel game that is 3 symbols high. Instead of paylines you need to land 4 or more identical symbols on the reels at once.
Stars Spin Bonus – The Stars Spin Bonus symbol will trigger the Free Spins feature if you can land 3 of them on the middle horizontal reel on a single spin.
Free Spins Bonus Symbol – The Free Spins Bonus symbol will trigger the Free Spins feature with an infinite multiplier bonus is you can land 3 of them on the middle horizontal reel.
3 or more “Scatter” symbols will also trigger the Free Spins feature.
Star Spins – If you can land 3 Stars Spins Bonus symbols on the middle horizontal reel on a single spin then you will be awarded 9 Free Spins. During the feature if any Star Spins land on the reels they will stick in pace for the duration of the spins.
Free Spins with the Infinite Multiplier – If you can land 3 Free Spins Bonus symbols on the middle horizonal reel then you will trigger 9 Free Spins. The multiplier begins at x1 the bet and will increase by 1 after each winning combination. If you can land an additional 3 Free Spins Bonus symbols o the middle horizontal reel during the feature you will be given an additional 3 Free Spins.
Gamble – Once you have landed a winning payline you can choose to gamble your winnings in an attempt to double them. When this happens you will have to choose between red or black cards, trying to guess which colour will be pulled from the pack. Guess correctly and you double your bet. Get it wrong and you lose the lot.
Whilst I am no fan of Wazdan’s Magic Stars franchise I do think that the last release, the one before this one, was the best so far. Magic Stars 9 might not be as good as Magic Stars 6, but there are a few things I do like. Doing away with paylines in favour of symbol combinations is something that people might like. The 2 different sets of Free Spins is a nice touch too. But, there are no Wilds and there is no Bonus feature. The house edge is poorer than in the last instalment and, at the end of the day this is basic looking slot with fairly generic symbol design.
