Mega Rise is a 3 reel slot that is 3 symbols high. The game uses traditional paylines, with 5 in total, playing from left to right.
Features
Rising Multiplier – At the right-hand side of the reel there are 3 symbols with a multiplier value beside them. Every time you form a win with those symbols the multiplier will increase. You can hit a maximum of 100 times the bet but symbols can change on any spin and when they do so the value will reset.
Mega Chip Rise – If the black and white casino chip lands on the reels then the Mega Chip Rise will be in play. This will either increase the value of one of the multipliers by up to x3 the bet or it will lock a symbol in place until if forms a win. Only 2 symbols can be locked at once.
Golden Mega Chip Rise – If the gold and purple casino chip lands on the reels then the Golden Mega Chip Rise will be in play. This will either increase the value of one of the multipliers by up to x7 the bet or it will lock a symbol in place until if forms two wins. Each symbol can have a maximum of 3 locks on it at any one time.
Conclusion
Mega Rise is an interesting little game. It doesn’t look great, and the 3 reels suggest something rather underwhelming is coming. I think that lowering of my expectations may be the reason why I actually think this is an OK slot. You don’t Free Spins or Wilds but multipliers and the locked symbols are a bit different. Those features do lack variety and the house edge is just OK. So, I wasn’t blown away by this slot but, and this might be damning with faint praise, it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting.
