The Melon Madness slots game is produced by the Bwin/Party group. This group provide the house edge information for some of their slots games and not for other, with no apparent rhyme or reason for the games they miss out. As such, if you are going to play with them we would recommend only playing games that they list the house edge information for. However we don’t recommend playing with this group at all due to their unwillingness to engage in 3rd party dispute mediation. For further information see the Bwin Casino Review.
Mental melons.
Melon Madness had 5 reels, 30 paylines and you can bet one coin on each payline.
The ‘Melon Madness Logo’ symbol is wild.
There are two bonus features when playing Melon Madness. The first is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Bell’ symbols anywhere on the reels. When this happens you will be asked to click on one of the bell symbols and it will reveal both the number of complimentary spins you have won and the multiplier that will be applied to your winnings.
The second bonus feature involves the progressive jackpot and as it cannot be activated when playing for free we can only give limited information on it. It seems to be activated randomly at the end of any spin and when this happens you will be taken to a new screen with a Wheel of Fortune type game to decide which level of jackpot you’ve won.
Conclusion
A lower house edge that some Bwin/Party games, however without hitting at least one of the larger jackpots – which the vast majority of players won’t – the house edge of Melon Madness is realistically likely to be a lot higher.
