Merry Xmas Slot Review

The Merry Xmas game can be found at casinos offering Play ‘n Go software. Play ‘n Go are a growing provider in the industry and have a rapidly expanding portfolio of both slots games and clients. They do offer a full casino platform, but primarily seem to be used as a bolt on package for extra slots games. Play ‘n Go do publish the Return to Player (RTP)/House Edge information for their slots games within the game help files. As such we know that the house edge for Merry Xmas is 4.21%.

The Merry Xmas game is made up of 5 reels, each one 3 symbols high. There are 15 paylines, with all wins coming from adjacent symbols on selected lines.

Wild – The Wild symbol is a number with a multiplication sign, which will obviously indicate the size of the multiplier on winning rounds. The Wild symbol only appears on the middle reel and can be a 2,3,4 or 5 times multiplier.

Scatter – There is no Scatter symbol in this game.

Bonus Features:

Bonus – You trigger the bonus feature if you can land the 3 different Christmas present symbols. When this happens, you will have to choose which one of the three symbols to unwrap, revealing a prize of up to 150 times the original bet.

Conclusion

Merry Xmas is not one of Play ‘n Go’s best games. Only having one reel for Wild symbols is disappointing, as is the lack of free spins. The one bonus that the game does have is nothing to remember. Entertainment value is very low on the ground here; you’ll spend hours spinning away on this game waiting for something to happen. The game does look quite good, but then most Play ‘n Go games do these days. The theme is pretty standard for a Christmas game but could have been used to frame a much more immersive experience than the one we have here. The House Edge is on the high side, which means that there is very little for me recommend here. Play ‘n Go have found themselves on the Naughty List with this game, offering next to no Christmas cheer, in a slots game that you shouldn’t go wasting your time on.
