Monopoly - Bring Down the House Slot Review

The Monopoly – Bring the House Down slots game can be found at online casinos offering WMS Gaming software who are a wholly owned subsidiary of Scientific Gaming. WMS Gaming do not publish their RTP or House Edge figures as standard. However UKGC licensed operators who now publish all game figures as standard. As such we can say that the House Edge of Monopoly – Bring the House Down is 5.90% when playing less than 2 credits per spin, 3.90% when playing 2 or more credits per spin and is 1.90% when playing the Big Bet feature. As this figure has not been confirmed by the software provider we cannot confirm whether this game is configurable or not. As such this figure should be treated as a guideline only when playing at any operator that does not publish their RTP figures.

Monopoly – Bring the House Down is a 5 reel game with 40 paylines.

The ‘Wild’ symbol is Wild.

There are seven bonus features when playing Monopoly – Bring the House Down. The first bonus feature is active on every spins. During the spin random patterns of House symbols – called ‘Hot Zones’ - will spin in the background of the regular symbols. If these land in the final positions they will turn the symbols they rest behind into Wild symbols.

The second bonus feature is activated randomly and upgrades a ‘House’ Wild symbol into a ‘Hotel’ Wild symbol that multiplies any win it contributes to by a random amount.

The third bonus feature is activated when you receive 3 or more of the ‘Monopoly Logo’ bonus symbol anywhere on the reel 1, 3 and 5. When this happens you will be awarded 8 complimentary spins. During the free spin Wild symbols of any form lock in place for the duration of the complimentary spins.

The fourth bonus feature is activated randomly. When this happens you will be shown 3 chance cards. Select one of the chance cards to reveal a Hot Zone. This will then be randomly added to the reels.

The fifth bonus feature is activated randomly. When this happens a random Hot Zone will be dropped onto the reels at the start of a spin. You have 3 seconds to collect this or pass on the Hot Zone and see another pattern. When you pass you will either be shown another pattern or will be forced to accept the previous pattern.

The sixth bonus feature is triggered when a Hot Zone lands just above the reels. When this happens the Hot Zone may randomly be nudged down onto the reels.

The seventh bonus feature is triggered by selecting the ‘Big Bet’ feature before you spin. When you do this you will be given the option of 1 Community Chest card pick for 20 credits, 2 for 30 credits, 3 for 40 credits and 4 for 50 credits. Each Community Chest card reveals one of the following features that will be applied for the following 5 spins:

- All Hot Zones are automatically upgraded to Hotels.

- Every spin is a winner.

- The low symbols, 10, J, Q, K, are replaced with other symbols.

- All Monopoly Logo bonus symbols are also Wild and lock in place for the duration of the spins (making complimentary spins more likely)

- Up to 3 additional spins.

- Cash prize of up to 50 credits.

Conclusion

Simply put, Monopoly – Bring the House Down is one of the best slots games we’ve ever seen. A fantastic selection of bonus features. The only small negative would be that this game is clearly offering its best to the high roller, but that best is one of the lowest House Edges we’ve seen for a slots game and a great bonus feature so that negative’s not enough that we’re giving less than 10/10.
