Ocean’s Treasure Slot Review

Released February 2020

The Ocean’s Treasure slot game can be found at Net Entertainment casinos. Net Entertainment are one of the most established software providers on the market, being founded in 1996. Net Entertainment are a Swedish company but gained enough success to have offices all over the world. Net Entertainment do make the house edge information of their slots games available and this can be found in the help files of the game (usually accessed by pressing the ‘?’ button at the bottom left of the game window). As such, we can state that the House Edge for Ocean’s Treasure is 4.01%.

Ocean’s Treasure is a 5-reel slot, with each reel sitting at 3 symbols high. There are 15 paylines in total, playing from left to right.

Theme

This slot is set in the underwater city of Atlantis. You have the usual mix of merpeople, tridents and Greek symbolism that you might associate with this theme. The colour scheme is blue and green.

Special Symbols

Wilds – There are two Wild symbols: the “Trident” and the “Female with the Trident”. Both Wilds will substitute for all symbols other than Scatters. The “Trident” symbol will appear in the base game and the Free Spins but the “Female with Trident” only appears in the base game but it does come fully stacked. However, there is no guarantee that the “Female with Trident” will fill the reel, as they can fall beneath or at the top of the reels.

Scatters – The “Chest” symbol is the Scatter. You need 3 or more of them to trigger the Free Spins. Scatters only appear on reels 1, 3 and 5.

Bonus Features

Free Spins – If you land 3 or more Scatter symbols you wil be awarded with 10 Free Spins. During the Free Spins a multiplier is in pace that will increase as you land more Wild symbols. The feature begins with a win multiplier of x3 the bet. Each time you land a Wild symbol you will increase the level meter by half, meaning that 2 will see you advance to the next level, where the multiplier will increase. Also, every time you fill the meter you will be given 2 additional Free Spins. The levels offer the following multipliers:

Level 1 = x3 Multiplier

Level 2 = x5 Multiplier

Level 3 = x7 Multiplier

Level 4 = x9 Multiplier

Level 5 = x12 Multiplier

Conclusion

Ocean’s Treasure is a solid slot but ultimately nothing that you won’t have seen before. It looks as good as any Net Ent slot you will have seen before but the features on offer are pretty standard stuff. You get 2 Wild symbols, one of which comes fully stacked. You get Free Spins that come with a multiplier and you can earn additional spins. The house edge could be offering much better value for money than this, ensuring that Ocean’s Treasure is a relatively underwhelming experience.
